36 countries in Asia and the Pacific, with a total population of more than 3.7 billion, are Members States of the ILO. The region is extremely diverse and includes some of the wealthiest countries on earth as well as two-thirds of the world’s poor.
The Regional Office in Bangkok supports work in very different countries, from Afghanistan to the Pacific Islands and from Mongolia to New Zealand.
