i-eval Flash News, no. 41 - Mar/Apr 2024

The 41st edition of i-eval Flash news reflects on the various activities EVAL has been engaged in since January 2024. It announces upcoming and newly completed studies, such as an updated guidance note on how to evaluate capacity development in ILO projects and programmes, along with a new supplementary note on the roles and responsibilities of ILO evaluation managers. The newsletter also describes evaluation news from the regional office for Europe and Central Asia by showcasing how evaluative evidence is helping improve local employment partnerships in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Moreover, a new cross-departmental article is featured which provides insight how the ILO can maximize learning through evaluation. Finally, the newsletter concludes by indicating various initiatives EVAL is working on, such as creating a community of practice for impact evaluation, in addition to indicating upcoming learning events and more.
