Responsible Business: Key Messages from International Instruments

Three international instruments are recognized as the key reference points on responsible business: the ILO Tripartite Declaration of Principles concerning Multinational Enterprises and Social Policy (ILO MNE Declaration), the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UN Guiding Principles) and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises (OECD MNE Guidelines). These brochures describe the key features and common elements of these three instruments and highlights how the ILO, OHCHR and OECD work together to support businesses implement responsible business practices.
