The ILO is devoted to promoting social justice and internationally recognised human and labour rights, through a decent work agenda.
Uzbekistan has been a member of the ILO since 1992.
ILO activities in Uzbekistan are coordinated by the National Coordinator’s office.
In Uzbekistan, the ILO ensures that its core priorities and interests, policies and experience are disseminated among key stakeholders.
The mission of the ILO in Uzbekistan is to have a strong, visible, and proactive presence in the country in order to effectively facilitate and support social dialogue between governments, employers’ and workers’ organisations, build partnerships with international institutions – with a purpose of promoting decent work and social justice.
